Job Description:
1.Handle all Engineering related work for the assigned area within the site
2.To work under the guidelines of Senior Engineer and experienced Junior Engineer
3.Supervise the work of contractor to avoid wastage
4.Issue material to the contractor as per the drawing plans/norms
5.Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per the specifications
6.Interpreting design documents (drawings) supplied by the architect
7.Liaising with consultants, architects, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
8.Work planning to meet agreed deadlines
9.To ensure minimum wastage of material
10.To get work done from supervisors and train them
11.Ensuring quality control
12.Prepare, Maintain and Update MIS reports and other relevant reports
13.Periodic reporting to HO / Site in-charge
14.Report any abnormalities to the Senior Engineers/Site in-charge / H.O
